Easy Tray Kebabs Cook TIME: SERVES: 50 mins 6-8 & PREP: 15 mins Ingredients 1 red or white onion, roughly chopped (about 1 cup) 1 bell pepper, roughly chopped (about 1 cup) 4 garlic cloves, chopped 1 cup flat Leaf parsley, roughly chopped, plus more for garnish 800 g ground beef, pork or Lamb (or a combination) 1 Tbsp Farm Boy”* Organic Paprika 4h tsp Farm Boy” Organic Cinnamon 4h tsp Farm Boy” Ground Cumin 4/4 tsp Farm Boy” Ground Coriander 1 Tbsp Farm Boy“ Sumac 1tsp salt 4h tsp ground black pepper 1/2 cup boiling water 2 Tbsp Farm Boy” Organic Tomato Paste 2 Tbsp butter 6-8 mild long peppers 1-2 small red onions, cut into 72” wedges 1-2 Roma tomatoes, cut lengthwise into wedges Farm Boy” Tzatziki for serving Farm Boy”* Naan for serving ER 1" DES Tomalo Pasle DIFFICULTY: Easy EIRE TA Directions 1 Preheat the oven to 400°F, convection if you have it. Grease a 9”x 13” pan, or Line with parchment paper. 2 Using food processor, pulse onion, bell pepper, garlic and parsley until you have a rough paste. 3 Place the ground meat in a Large bowl. Add onion-bell pepper mixture along with paprika, cinnamon, ground cumin, ground coriander, sumac, and salt. Mix gently but thoroughly. 4 Place the meat on the sheet pan. Press the meat gently to a thickness of about 1”, filling the entire pan, making sure to not make the meat overly compact. 5 Score the meat with a knife so it will be easier to portion after cooking. Arrange peppers, red onions and tomatoes on top, making a nice pattern. 6 In small bowl, mix the boiling water, tomato paste and butter until completely smooth. Drizzle eventy over the meat. Season the top with salt and pepper. 7 Roast until nicely browned and cooked through, 40-45 minutes. |f you have a broiler, broil for 3-4 minutes before serving. 8 Cool for a few minutes, then garnish with parsley and serve With Farm Boy" Tzatziki and Farm Boy” Naan.
